Full and A week vegetable, fruit, cheese and ready-to-eat shares: 
Distribution will be Wednesday, 8/23, from 5pm – 8pm at First Presbyterian Church (124 Henry St.) Distribution will be, weather permitting, outside to the right of the church. If not, it will be in the front entryway of the church.

1 head Green Leaf Lettuce, 1 bunch Radishes, 2 Onions, 3/4 lb (1 pint) Cherry/Grape Tomatoes, 2 lbs Tomatoes, 1 lb Green or Yellow Beans, 1 bulb Kohlrabi, 2 cucumbers, 1 pce Zucchini, 1 Whole Watermelon, 3 pce Corn

Ready to Eat Share:
Carrot Slaw + Chili Cilantro Pickles + Kimchi

Fruit Share:
1 bag Peaches + 1 bag Apples

Mild Hard cheese aged 3-5 months

Operation Backpack:  While we are not collecting supplies at distribution this year, the event is still going on and you can drop off supplies or donate to this great cause on your own! More info here.

Chaseholm Farms ‘Moonlight’

Chaource Style a slightly aged, bloomy rind cheese whose white rind just conceals the ash layer beneath. Quick to ripen; Moonlight has a tart and firm chevre style center in its youth, but as it ages, ripening from the outside in, the pate sweetens taking on an ever more delicate body and creaminess. An ash layer beneath the bloom has characteristics of a goat’s milk St Maure, though made here with cows milk. Pair with salted almonds and honey.

Cooperstown Cheese Company ‘Jersey Girl’

Jersey Girl, from Cooperstown Cheese Company is a raw cow’s milk Colby made with milk from Autumn Valley Farm in Worcester, NY is mild and creamy.  Autumn Valley Farm is entirely grass fed so the earthiness of the cow’s milk is reflected in the deep yellow hue and rich hearty flavor of the cheese.
